The Center for Community Engagement promotes experiential learning that bridges academic knowledge with real-world learning. Through community engagement initiatives, service learning courses, and academic internships (CESLI), students gain meaningful hands-on experience that deepens personal, professional, and academic growth. These opportunities prepare students for long-term success in an increasingly diverse and dynamic world—whether through partnerships with local communities to advance social change or through workforce experiences that enhance career development and economic mobility.

College Corps is a "serve, learn, and earn" program where students receive a living allowance and education award for 450 hours of community service and professional development training activities.
