'The Jasmine Flower," from "Three Chinese Folk Songs, arranged by Victoria Bond and sung by soprano Yongyan (Molly) Wu will highlight a free concert at 8 p.m. April 21 in the Music Building, room 1055, celebrating a visit to campus by a delegation from South China Normal University.
Also on the program are "Red Red Flowers," a Chinese folk song orchestrated by Ryan Rey, the music department's 2009 Glenn Glasow Fellow, and Mozart's "Flute Concerto No. 2," performed by Professor Geng Tao. Buddy James will conduct the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Singers' program, Jeffrey Sykes will be on the piano, and Lieven Smart, will be assistant conductor.
