"Much like the bold and fearless Peregrine falcon native to the Bay Area, Cal State Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and its students seek to exemplify a resilient, future-focused, and trailblazing spirit worthy of the college's motto "through adversity to the stars." Due to this pioneering spirit, it's no wonder that CSUEB challenges the stereotypical college experience. From being the only college in California to offer a fully online BA Degree in History, to having small-sized history classes that stand in contrast to the typical 100+ person history college class, to providing its graduating history students with detailed references. CSUEB is not your typical college as it seeks to give its history students a jumpstart in the history field by providing them with an account to pioneering networking apps like Handshake, giving them publishing and editing experience through the Historia as well as providing $20,000 in total scholarships to both current and graduating history students."

"The MA program in History at CSU-Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ unlocked for me a career as History Adjunct in a community college, as assistant book review editor for an academic journal, and as curator of a house museum exhibitions. How many institutions can prepare a student for all that, in only two years?"
